My name is Peter Angelov. I am a Master of Science student in International Economics and Business at Utrecht School of Economics. I am also a teaching-assistant in Business Economics at the same faculty.
With this site, I want to attract the attention of people that like to share ideas and to interact with each other in multiple media. It’s true that with the published content, the main audience I may attract is that of people that have or will have professional dealings with me, but I am sure there is something new and engaging for anyone with an open mind towards the Global Village and an active attitude towards what is going on in the world and the ways to change it for good.
I learned a great deal about the Web and its benefits while working on this site. I also learned a lot about myself and the correlation between my individual perception and the image I have created in society.
Hopefully, we bridge the gap and I get to hear from you opinions about this blog, its content, or the world in general.
A good relaxation, accompanied by recreational and creative activities, is essential for me, and I believe for many others, to remain an active and a positive person. Apart from being involved in the academic and professional fields, I also have passions related to art and music, photography, and traveling, particularly mountain hiking. The common ground between all of them is maybe the pursuance and mimicry of nature, which never stops fascinating and inspiring me in all its forms and evolutions. In this section, I would like to share some of my hobbies and passions with you and show you another, often remaining hidden from the majority, side of me. More is coming soon so stay tuned
This project was done for the USE course of venture Marketing under the supervision of Peter van der Meer. My partner for it was Dimo Dimov, a very talented and ambitious student from the same faculty. By far, I can say that this project was the most efficiently done and the end result is of great satisfaction. We used Adobe After Effects for the most of it. We would like to thank Pauline Bruyel for her valuable interview.
In this video, we will try to explain you how to market a new idea, product, or service using communication channels and methods that are beyond the orthodox marketing theory, in order to achieve exponential popularity in a world of information clatter and social diversity, and doing all this in a cost efficient way. In order to do so, we will try to extend traditional marketing principles by combining the notions of Connected Marketing with the concepts developed by Malcolm Gladwell in “The Tipping Point” into a unified marketing theory.
Ever since he was at school, actor and comedian Alan Davies has hated maths. And like many people, he is not much good at it either. But Alan has always had a sneaking suspicion that he was missing out.
So, with the help of top mathematician Professor Marcus du Sautoy (The Story of Maths and How Long Is A Piece Of String?) Alan is going to embark on a maths odyssey.
Together they visit the fourth dimension, cross the universe and explore the concept of infinity. Along the way, Alan does battle with some of the toughest maths questions of our age.
But did his abilities peak 25 years ago when he got his grade C O-Level? In this documentary, Alan tries to master the most complex maths concept there is.
“The Students is active in his self-development. Peter is very positive towards the bank’s staff members and demonstrates excellent team work skills. The apprentice possesses good abilities of independently executing tasks requiring high levels of concentration and accuracy. He is also capable of working under pressure.”
Do you have an advice for the student in relation to the completion of his study and/or later functioning as an economist?
“The student has great intellectual potential and analytical skills, which is not very apparent from his grades, so emphasize on acquiring higher grades is advisory. While still in his studies, I’d advise reading extracurricular specialized literature, such as books by famous economists, journals, and magazines in order to get further in depth and be in sync with the latest trends.
As of his professional development, he is a person that needs to work with people in a team in order to stay motivated. Peter is also a person that searches for challenges. I would personally advise consulting as the best occupation, having also in mind his law background.”
Did the Students keep the agreements made in advance?
“The internship started with setting several agreements concerning bank secrecy and the bank code of conduct. During the period, no breach of those agreements was detected.
Peter showed accuracy in relation to the working schedule and compensated with extra work for the occasions he had to be absent due to family reasons”
